The club President and wife accompanied by the Vice President visited the home of a single mother with five kids in Kelebang, Ipoh on Thursday, 02 September 2010. Her plight was highlighted by a local newspaper and the club president picked the news and decided to provide a prompt assistance.
A sum of money plus a basketful of food ration of rice, flour, cooking oil, sugar, salt, biscuits, Milo, tea, cordial, chocolates and an assortments of Hari Raya goodies were handed over to the single mother by Puan Hanita, the club President's wife.
